Crowd-funding Project

Mountain Passes South Africa (MPSA) inherited 54 tourism signs from the now-defunct ‘Cape Mountain Passes.‘

As we travel our spectacular mountain passes and poorts, we do our best to keep the signs neat and tidy but removing stickers and graffiti, plugging holes and reporting damage to the local municipalities. Some of our fellow Mountain Passers voluntarily clean up vandalised signs on their own adventures too!

However, a number of these signboards are beyond redemption and need to be completely replaced.

The cost of replacing these boards is beyond our immediate means. The only way we can maintain this very worthwhile tourism-sustaining project is by running a collaborative, pro-tourism crowd-funding project.
