Mountain Passes of South Africa 4×4 Tours
Book a tour online and join us on one of our uniquely crafted 4×4 (and 4×2) self-drive guided tours. We have standard tours which include Kouga Baviaans, Ben 10 Eco Challenge, Wild Coast, Garden Route, Tankwa and the Swartberg Classic. New tours are added each year. You arrive at a fixed meeting point in your own vehicle where you meet up with your guide and the rest of the participants. You will be supplied with a VHF radio so that all vehicles have communications with each other. The tours vary in length and scope and are run once every 6 to 8 weeks. Bring your own “padkos” and enjoy an entertaining and informative tour with South Africa’s leading mountain pass expert.

This is a master spreadsheet containing all the vital statistics of approximately 1165 South African mountain passes. This is by far the most comprehensive and accurate set of data ever accumulated on the subject. Once you have downloaded the spreadsheet you can sort the passes into any order of your preference and tick off from this list those passes you have driven. The spreadsheet is the perfect travel companion to have with you on any trip. Please note that this document is copyright protected. It may not be copied in any manner. It is strictly for the exclusive use of the purchaser. You can also download the full zip-file of all the route files on our website (approximately 1000). You can then upload one or many to your GPS to provide you with very accurate guidance.
